PHASE 1 Tele-Team is a telecommunications contracting company owned and operated by professional technicians with over 60 years combined technical experience. We take our field seriously and value our work as telecom professionals. We are committed to completing projects on time, with a high quality standard of getting the job right the first time.
We made our mark in the downtown Los Angeles area in 1997, taking the One Wilshire Building by storm. We are working on numerous telecommunications contract projects right now. In the meantime, our goal is to locate all of our past employees, contractors, trainees, and any other telecom technicians interested in making their mark in the field of telecommunications. PHASE 1 Tele-Team (P1TT) began out of the desire to train and provide quality technicians to telecommunications companies within the metro Los Angeles area, while supplying the technicians with market value pay and the respect deserving of their skills. P1TT realizes the need in the southern California area for a contracting agency that fills a void left by other telecommunications contracting agencies by being owned and operated by skilled telecommunications technicians.
P1TT is a temporary and permanent placement personnel agency working solely with skilled, professional telecommunication workers and Los Angeles metropolitan area based businesses. P1TT differs from other temporary and permanent placement agencies because of our ability to screen skilled workers, as we are owned and operated by skilled technicians. P1TT believes that the contracting industry pays only cursory attention to providing businesses highly qualified telecommunications workers for permanent and non-permanent positions. P1TT has three divisions, targeting the following areas of expertise:
- Equipment Installation Site
- Equipment and Project Management
- Equipment Sales and Servicing
P1TT is structured like other temporary and permanent placement agencies. However, it will serve clients with needs for select, specialized telecommunications professionals and technicians rather than clerical or light industrial workers. Several businesses in Los Angeles provide a similar service to specific groups of people, but there are none for the being operated by actual skilled telecommunications technicians. P1TT does not provide general clerical, light industrial, engineers, accountants, nurses, or other medical technicians.
P1TT is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). The LLC partners are Keisha Joseph-Beard and Paul R. Joseph. Paul R. Joseph has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1969 (over 31 years) with various telecommunications companies, beginning with General Telephone Company (GTE). Keisha Joseph-Beard has been a telecommunications technician for over 20 years, starting as an installation technician, right out of high school in 1990. Together, they have owned and operated PHASE 1 Tele-Team: training over 350 technicians; building business relationships; hiring employees; handling employee issues; and working with clients, small, large and everything in between.
